JD for Accounts Manager (Head) - Experience 15 years Key Responsibilities - Accounting & Financial Management Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and statutory compliance for domestic and international transactions. Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting and variance analysis. Lead month-end and year-end close processes; ensure integrity of financial data and compliance with applicable accounting standards. - Banking & Fund Management Develop and maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions; negotiate banking facilities, credit lines and optimize fund utilization. Manage fund arrangement, working capital and cash flow to support operational and strategic needs. Oversee daily cash management, bank reconciliations and ensure liquidity for business operations. - Exports & International Finance Administer all export/import finance activities including letters of credit, export documentation and realization of export proceeds. Ensure compliance with RBI, FEMA and other regulatory requirements for cross-border transactions. Liaise with customs, banks and trade partners to facilitate smooth export/import operations. - Treasury Operations Lead treasury function: cash flow forecasting, investment management, risk assessment and implementation of treasury policies and controls. Optimize asset-liquidity and capital structure; manage foreign exchange exposures and hedging strategies. Supervise treasury staff, ensuring best practices in cash management and risk mitigation. - Leadership & Team Management Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing finance and accounts team; drive a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. Collaborate with internal stakeholders (sales, procurement, operations) to align financial strategies with business objectives. - Compliance & Audit Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards, tax laws and internal controls. Coordinate with internal and external auditors; oversee audit processes and address findings promptly. - Process Improvement & Systems Drive automation, process improvements and ERP/SAP implementation for enhanced efficiency and accuracy. Identify and implement best practices in financial operations, reporting and treasury management. - Qualifications & Skills -Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field; CA/CPA/CMA preferred. -15+ years of progressive experience in accounting, banking, exports, and treasury, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
