Job description Organization: ORCHIDS The International School Role: Dance Teacher (Females Only) Location: Bengaluru: Kadugodi Position Overview: As a Dance Teacher, your primary responsibility is to instruct students in various forms of dance, including but not limited to ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, and hip-hop. You'll design and implement lesson plans, provide guidance on technique and performance, and foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment. ONLY FEMALES Experience in teaching Western Dance Styles Key Responsibilities: 1. Curriculum Development: 2. Create lesson plans tailored to the age, skill level, and interests of students. 3. Develop progressive curriculum to ensure students' continuous improvement. 4. Incorporate diverse dance styles and techniques into lesson plans. 5. Instruction and Demonstration: 6. Teach dance techniques, choreography, and routines to students individually and in groups. 7. Demonstrate proper form, movement, and expression. 8. Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to students. 9. Performance Preparation: 10. Prepare students for performances, recitals, and competitions. Classroom Management: 1. Maintain a safe and organized learning environment. 2. Enforce studio rules and policies. 3. Manage student behaviour and resolve conflicts effectively. 4. Communication and Collaboration: 5. Communicate regularly with students and parents regarding progress, schedules, and upcoming events. Qualifications: 1. Proven experience as a dance instructor or performer. 2. Proficiency in various dance styles, with expertise in at least one style. 3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 4. Patience, enthusiasm, and passion for teaching dance.
