Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time French Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of the French language and a love for teaching, with the ability to create an engaging and interactive learning environment for students of all levels. Key Responsibilities Instruction : Teach French language classes to students of varying levels, from beginners to advanced learners. Assessment & Feedback : Conduct assessments to monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and offering support for improvement. Classroom Management : Maintain a positive, respectful, and productive classroom environment. Communication : Engage with students and parents, providing updates on student progress and addressing any concerns or questions. Cultural Enrichment : Integrate French culture, literature, history, and current events into lessons to enhance student learning and engagement. Collaboration : Work collaboratively with other language department staff and participate in meetings or professional development opportunities. Qualifications Education : Bachelor's degree in French, Education, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Experience : Prior teaching experience in French or a related field is preferred but not required. Skills : Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to teach French in an engaging and student-centered manner. Knowledge of French grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. Familiarity with various teaching resources and technology. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Work Hours This is a part-time position with flexible working hours.
