Overseeing and controlling maintenance expenses for department to track adherence to allocated budget Identifying and driving cost saving and energy saving initiatives to ensure optimum and efficient use of machines Initiating solutions and action plans for customer complaints to ensure effective redressal as per requirements Monitoring continuous availability and usage of plant equipment in order to achieve maximum utilisation of machines and other utilities Formulating action plans for correction of repetitive failure through implementing kaizen to reduce the MTBF & MTTR Proposing and initiating plans for machine improvement, updates in systems and technology to increase overall efficiency of department Monitoring sourcing and management of spare parts as per current and future requirement in accordance with given budget Monitoring and ensuring adherence of machines and utilities to legal and other statutory compliances as per company policy and industrial regulations Enforcing EHS and statutory compliances applicable to facility as per legal register and improve on safety performance in order to achieve yearly targets Facilitating the overall development of team members through effective & need based training and proper work allocation Analysing of team skill gap & upgrade in new multi skill
