We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented AutoCAD Engineer with 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in creating and modifying detailed drawings and designs. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in AutoCAD software and an understanding of engineering principles, able to transform project requirements into technical drawings, blueprints, and plans. As part of a collaborative team, you will play a key role in supporting engineering projects across a variety of industries, ensuring precision, accuracy, and compliance with specifications. Key Responsibilities Drafting and Design : Create, modify, and update AutoCAD drawings for engineering projects, including 2D and 3D models, layouts, schematics, and construction drawings. Develop detailed design plans and drawings from verbal, written, or conceptual specifications provided by senior engineers and project managers. Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, specifications, and client requirements. Collaboration with Engineers and Teams : Work closely with project engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure the technical feasibility and accuracy of design documents. Incorporate feedback from senior engineers and clients into design revisions, ensuring timely delivery of updated drawings. Documentation and Revision Control : Maintain accurate records of drawing revisions and ensure all project drawings are up-to-date. Prepare technical documentation, including drawing lists, material specifications, and project manuals. Quality Control & Compliance : Review and check design work to ensure all details, dimensions, and technical specifications are accurately represented. Ensure that designs are in compliance with relevant local codes, standards, and regulations. Support and Troubleshooting : Assist in identifying and resolving design issues, offering creative solutions to technical challenges that arise during the drafting and review phases. Provide ongoing support to the project team to ensure smooth implementation of the designs in the field or during production. Project Assistance : Assist in the preparation of project plans, schedules, and budgets as required. Support senior engineers and designers in the completion of project deliverables and milestones.
Site Management : Supervise and manage on-site HVAC installation, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with industry standards and project specifications. Ensure all materials and equipment are delivered on time and in the correct quantities. Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth site operations. Regularly inspect work in progress to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and safety standards. Installation & Commissioning : Oversee the installation of HVAC systems, including air conditioning, heating, ventilation, and related equipment. Conduct system testing and commissioning, ensuring proper operation and energy efficiency. Troubleshoot and resolve any installation or operational issues on-site. Quality Control & Safety : Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members. Monitor work to maintain high-quality standards, reviewing site conditions and work processes regularly. Ensure all documentation, including site reports, inspection forms, and safety logs, are completed accurately and timely. Client & Team Coordination : Liaise directly with clients, contractors, and other engineering professionals to ensure project goals are met. Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers, technicians, and subcontractors. Attend site meetings to report progress, challenges, and solutions to senior management and stakeholders. Documentation & Reporting : Prepare and submit regular site progress reports, highlighting key milestones, issues, and resolutions.
