Nelli Media Network is a creative media company based in Poonamallee, Chennai, specializing in video production, digital content, TV shows, and branding. We produce a variety of media formats including animated explainer videos, kids’ stories, corporate ads, and social media content. We're expanding our animation team to bring more ideas to life through engaging visuals.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and creative 2D & 3D Animator to join our production team. The animator will be responsible for creating high-quality motion graphics, character animations, explainer videos, and visual effects for digital, YouTube, and broadcast content.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and animate 2D characters, scenes, and objects using tools like Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, or Toon Boom
• Create and animate 3D models, environments, and characters using software like Blender, Maya, or Cinema 4D
• Work closely with the scriptwriters and directors to visualize stories
• Add motion graphics, visual effects, and sound sync to match storyboards
• Handle character rigging and lip-syncing for dialogue-driven videos
• Collaborate with video editors, voiceover artists, and designers
• Ensure all animations are delivered on time and meet quality standards

Requirements:

• 1 to 3 years of experience in 2D and 3D animation
• Proficiency in animation tools: Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Blender, or Maya
• Strong understanding of motion, timing, and storytelling
• Ability to interpret scripts and convert them into animated visuals
• Creative thinking, attention to detail, and ability to work under deadlines
• A portfolio or showreel is mandatory

Bonus Skills:

• Experience in children’s animation, explainer videos, or corporate AVs
• Knowledge of character rigging and scene lighting
• Basic video editing and sound syncing skills
• Tamil-speaking is an added advantage
