Cyber Security Researcher

You will be responsible for conducting Vulnerability Assessments of applications, Networks, and Security Devices using a variety of open-source and commercial tools. You will map out networks, identify ports, and services running on exposed networks and security devices. Additionally, you will conduct penetration tests, launch exploits using various tools and scripts, and stay updated on computer network exploitation, tools, techniques, countermeasures, and trends in vulnerabilities, data hiding, network security, and encryption. Your role will involve analyzing scan reports and recommending remediation/mitigation plans, reviewing software posture, coordinating with operations to plan code version upgrades for supported security and network devices, and performing advanced technical analysis on intrusions. You will also audit the configuration of Network and Security devices. Candidates for this role should have experience in Capture The Flags (CTFs), be familiar with application and network recon tools, and exploitation methods. A strong understanding of computer networking, application security, Network Security technology (especially Firewalls), and OWASP is required. Knowledge of automating tools and actions is advantageous. You should be able to provide clear descriptions and remediations for vulnerabilities, adapt audit methodologies as per the network setup, and have an in-depth understanding of the Common Vulnerability Exposure (CVE)/Cert Advisory database. Being well-versed in CTF, hack the box, tryhackme, nmap, metasploit, github.com, nessus, caldera, bug bounty, hall of fame, burp suite, and responsible disclosure is preferred. This position is available as both Full-time and Internship roles with work scheduled from Monday to Friday. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of work experience.
