Cyber Security Engineering Lead

As a Cyber Security Lead at one of the biggest technology companies in Asia, your role will involve leading a team of product security professionals to ensure the protection of technology and applications. Here's what you will get to do: - Lead Product Security Initiatives: - Define and enforce security standards within product development to meet high security benchmarks. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security protocols and processes within the software development lifecycle. - Establish and maintain security tools and best practices to protect user data, corporate assets, and intellectual property. - Develop and Implement Security Solutions: - Design and build scalable security frameworks to address specific threats using a combination of off-the-shelf and custom solutions. - Integrate automated security measures into CI/CD pipelines for rapid and secure product releases. - Evaluate and implement new technologies and methodologies to enhance security across product lines. - Cultivate a Security-Driven Culture: - Mentor and guide a team of 4-5 security engineers to promote continuous learning and proactive risk mitigation. - Encourage secure coding practices and provide technical leadership in secure architecture design. - Collaborate with engineering teams to embed a culture of security awareness and best practices throughout the organization. To be successful in this role, you should have: - At least 10 years of experience in product security. - Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate, guide, and develop security professionals. - In-depth knowledge of security vulnerabilities such as OWASP Top 10, SANS Top 25, and CWE, including experience in addressing business logic issues. - Stay updated on emerging threats like DDoS, ransomware, and supply chain attacks, and implement strategies to mitigate these risks. - Practical experience in software development (SSDLC) with proficiency in security testing and application frameworks. - A collaborative and solutions-oriented approach with excellent communication skills to engage with technical teams and senior stakeholders.,
