Cyber Detection and Response Manager

As a Threat Detection & Response Operations Manager at EY, you will be leading Operations/Delivery for TDR engagements, ensuring effective security incident investigation support with multiple SIEM/EDR/NSM solutions to meet client SLAs and KPIs. - Oversee the detection, reporting, and response to security incidents, enabling the SOC team to manage incidents efficiently. - Manage security tools and technologies used by the SOC team for effective monitoring and threat detection. - Lead and manage the Security Operations Centre responsible for security event monitoring. - Define, track, and meet Service Level Agreements for all clients. - Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members. - Revise and ensure adherence to Standard Operating Policies & Procedures. - Identify opportunities to enhance security monitoring and operational tasks. - Communicate complex technical security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. - Develop and maintain relationships with client personnel. - Supervise daily SOC tasks that can be automated. - Provide strategic insights and benefits to clients, working with limited resources. - Hands-on expertise in SIEM technologies like Microsoft Sentinel and Splunk. - Expertise in Security Monitoring and Cyber Incident Response. - Knowledge of cloud security, IOT/OT, and network monitoring platforms. - Familiarity with endpoint protection tools and platforms. - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. - Customer service orientation with a commitment to meeting customer expectations. - B. Tech./ B.E. with strong technical skills. - Ability to work in client time zones. - Proficiency in verbal and written English. - Technical acumen and critical thinking abilities. - Strong interpersonal and presentation skills. - Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience with SIEM solutions and Project Management. - Certification in any SIEM platform. - Knowledge of RegEx, Perl scripting, and SQL query language is a plus. - Certifications such as CISM, CEH, CISSP, GCIH, GIAC, SABSA, TOGAF.
