JOB DESCRIPTION – CUSTOMER SERVICE EXECUTIVE (FIELD)

Digital TV Channel – Yellow Straw

About the Role

Yellow Straw is looking for a proactive and field-ready Customer Service Executive to manage Digital TV Channel operations across retail outlets. The role includes activation of digital screens, issue handling, field visits, and ensuring smooth functioning of installations.

1. Channel Operations & Installation

  • Activate and manage Digital TV screens at retail outlets.
  • Assist in installation, configuration, and setup of Digital TV units.
  • Maintain timely updates on installation status, screen health, and operational uptime.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for content updates, system checks, and service requirements.

2. Customer Service & Issue Resolution

  • Address and resolve customer/dealer complaints — remotely or via field visits.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues (hardware, connectivity, content display).
  • Maintain service logs and document every visit and issue closed.

3. Client & Dealer Engagement

  • Educate customers and dealers on channel features, usage, and benefits.
  • Assist and convince dealers through activation processes.
  • Capture store-level feedback on content quality and customer reaction.
  • Build strong relationships with retail partners and staff.

4. Field Ownership & Proactiveness

  • Be ready to take hands-on responsibility for on-ground challenges.
  • Show initiative, work independently, and ensure on-ground excellence.
  • Represent Yellow Straw with professionalism and positive energy.

Skills & Competencies

  • Good communication in English & Hindi.
  • Basic technical troubleshooting (TV hardware, connectivity, USB/HDMI).
  • Confident with customer, dealer, and retailer interactions.
  • Strong interpersonal and convincing skills.
  • MS Office proficiency (Excel & Word).
  • Passion for fieldwork and customer engagement.

Education & Experience

  • Diploma in Engineering (Electronics/Electrical/IT) or ITI.
  • Experience in field service, customer support, hardware installation, or retail tech is a plus.

Pay: ₹8,783.38 - ₹34,050.59 per month
