Role Overview: As a Project Engineer at our company, your main purpose will be to undertake new project planning, technical support, and control by coordinating with vendors for new assets. This is crucial to fulfill the organization's demand, meet productivity targets, ensure desired quality, and maintain low costs and other compliances. Without someone in this position, the planning and execution of new assets and services would stagnate, leading to a halt in coordination with vendors and potentially affecting productivity. Key Responsibilities: - Project planning - Technical data collection from the shop - Follow up for quotations - Coordination with vendors for data clarification - Technical and commercial comparison of quotes - Seeking clarifications from vendors Qualifications Required: - B Tech degree - Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in: - Manpower handling - Shop floor management - Kaizen & continual improvement - Machining operations (e.g., VMC, HMC, Turning) - Machine installation and commissioning - Documents preparation (e.g., station readiness sheet, W.I.S, HIRA, OPL, HCS, SOP, Spare part management) Additional Details: The Tata Motors Leadership Competencies expected from you include: - Customer Centricity - Developing Self and Others - Driving Execution - Leading by Example - Leading Change - Motivating Self and Others Your functional competencies will include the successful execution of the mentioned key responsibilities to contribute effectively to the organization's projects and goals.,
