Job Description: Psychology Faculty – CUET (UG) Preparation

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced, engaging, and student-centric Psychology Faculty to teach and mentor students preparing for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG). The candidate will be responsible for delivering the CUET Psychology syllabus, developing assessment tools, supporting students in conceptual understanding, and helping them perform well in the exam.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and lessons covering the full Psychology syllabus of CUET-UG: topics like Introduction to Psychology, Methods of Psychological Enquiry, Human Development, Cognition, Sensation & Perception, Learning, Personality, Motivation & Emotion, Social Psychology, Individual differences, etc.
• Develop teaching materials: slides, notes, case studies, examples, sample questions.
• Create & conduct assessments: quizzes, assignments, full-length mock tests; regularly monitor student progress and provide feedback.
• Conduct doubt-clearing & remedial sessions for students needing additional support.
• Create an interactive classroom environment: use real-life examples, visuals, experiments / demonstrations / projects (if feasible).
• Help students with exam strategy: structuring answers, critical thinking, time management, elimination methods, essay-type/long answer questions.
• Keep up-to-date with CUET Psychology exam patterns: weightages, frequently asked topics, changes in format.
• Use digital tools (if online/hybrid): virtual classes, recorded classes, online quizzes, etc.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Master’s degree (M.A./M.Sc.) in Psychology or allied field. Additional educational credentials (e.g. B.Ed., certificate in educational psychology) are a plus.
• Experience: 1-3 years minimum teaching/coaching experience, preferably with higher secondary / competitive exam / CUET Psychology.
• Deep subject knowledge, clarity in explaining abstract concepts.
• Strong communication skills (especially in the language(s) spoken by your students).
• Ability to mentor & motivate students.
• Comfortable using technology for teaching (presentations, online platforms, video lessons, etc.).
