Job Title: Quality Inspector Reports To: Team Leader Quality Purpose of the Position:- The Quality Inspector serves as a technical and administrative member of the Quality team, operating within the guidelines set forth by corporate policy and company procedures. The individual is responsible for ensuring Quality Control standards are maintained in alignment with the Crown Quality System. Role & responsibilities:- Ensure 5S activities and use of proper PPE at the start and end of each shift as per guidelines. Perform work allocation as directed by the Team Leader. Maintain the assignment file neatly, handle documents carefully, and ensure all required documents are completed accurately on a daily basis. Review Non-Conformities (NC) from the previous day with the Team Leader or Engineer and cooperate during daily/monthly audits. Conduct inspections as per work instructions and ensure compliance with specified cycle times for productivity. Prevent customer concerns by adhering to corrective action plans related to customer issues. Contribute to enhancing the company's image at customer sites through professionalism in all activities. Share ideas and provide input towards continuous improvement of Crowns operations. Actively participate in continual improvement activities related to Quality Control. Preferred candidate profile 1) Educational Qualification:- DIPLOMA & BE ( Mechanical / Automobile) Engineering 2) Experience:- 0 to 4 years Experience in Quality. 3) Skills:- Basic understanding of Safety Standards and Quality Expectations Basic communication skills. Job Title: Quality Team Lead Department: Quality Purpose of the Role: The Quality Team Lead is responsible for overseeing quality control operations, leading the quality team, and ensuring that products and processes meet internal and customer specifications. This role ensures that quality standards are implemented, monitored, and improved continuously to support operational excellence. Role & responsibilities: Leadership & Supervision: Lead and mentor a team of Quality Inspectors and Technicians. Allocate tasks, set priorities, and ensure daily quality operations are carried out efficiently. Quality Control & Assurance: Monitor production processes and ensure inspections are done at every stage. Maintain and improve quality documentation including SOPs, work instructions, and inspection records. Audit & Compliance: Assist in internal and external quality audits (ISO, customer audits, etc.). Ensure corrective actions from audits are implemented and verified. Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and analyse quality reports and KPIs such as rejection rates, inspection results, and customer complaints. Report quality trends to management and suggest areas for improvement. Continuous Improvement: Support cross-functional teams in quality improvement projects. Preferred candidate profile: Education: Diploma / BE in Mechanical, Automobile Engineering or equivalent. Experience: Minimum 4-6 years in quality assurance/control, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership role. Technical Skills: Knowledge of ISO 9001, 5S, 7QC Tools, CAPA, and basic statistical analysis.
