Project Overview

Our World Energy (OWE), a fast-growing solar energy company with 750+ employees, is preparing to launch a new CRM system build (estimated 816 months). To support this initiative, we are seeking a CRM Implementation Consultant to serve as a strategic advisor.

The consultant will assess OWE's current processes, guide leadership in selecting the right CRM solution, and develop a roadmap for successful implementation. This is not only about vetting vendors, it's about deeply understanding OWE's business needs and helping us choose and adopt a platformthat can serve us for years to come.

Scope of Work - The consultant will:

  • Conduct a businessneeds assessment across key departments.
  • Advise leadership on CRM platform selection aligned with scalability and long-term goals.
  • Develop a high-level implementation roadmap (timeline, milestones, best practices).
  • Provide training and guidance to ensure effective adoption.
  • Support vendor evaluation, demos, and negotiations as needed.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and perform real-time adjustments to ensure smooth functionality and user experience.
  • Monitor system performance, data integrity, and security protocols post-implementation.
  • Work closely with internal teams (IT, operations, finance) to gather requirements and ensure CRM solutions meet cross-functional needs.

  • Advisory input during planning and early rollout
  • Training documentation or vendor negotiation support

Required Qualifications

  • Proven expertise in CRM evaluation and implementation projects.
  • Experience advising high-growth or mid-sized organizations (solar/energy industry a plus).

  • Strong ability to align business needs with technology solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to guide executive teams.

  • Structure: Independent Consultant
  • Duration: 6 months, flexible part-time hours
