Job Title : Video Editor Working Hours : 10:00 am - 7:00 pm Job type : Full time Workplace type : On-site We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented video editor who can read and understand English scripts, then modify raw video footage adding cuts, overlays, graphics, sound, and effects to create engaging, polished content that aligns with the script and brand guidelines. Key responsibilities: 1. Read and understand English scripts, capturing tone, structure, and messaging 2. Review and organize raw footage, creating shot lists and logical sequences 3. Assemble, trim, and refine video clips into rough and final cuts 4. Sync audio (voice-overs, dialogue), adjust pacing, and maintain visual continuity 5. Add music, sound effects, color correction, transitions, motion graphics, and subtitles 6. Incorporate feedback, iterate edits, and deliver polished versions on schedule 7. Manage media assets, maintain organized project files, and ensure timely delivery 8. Stay current with editing trends, software updates, and best practices Must-have: 1. Proven experience (0-2 years) as a video editor 2. Strong English reading comprehension and script interpretation skills 3. Proficiency with editing tools (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) 4. Familiarity with audio editing, color grading, transitions, and motion graphics 5. Keen attention to detail and storytelling instincts 6. Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively Tools: 1.
