Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Design Engineer with mid to expert level experience in wood, steel, and light gauge metal framing (LGMF) structural design. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering complete structural engineering solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial foundation design projects across the USA. Key Responsibilities: Perform full structural design for wood-framed residential (single-family and multi-family), commercial, and industrial projects. Apply knowledge of structural fundamentals and engineering principles to ensure safe and efficient designs. Independently manage and execute projects from concept to final deliverables. Prepare calculations, drawings, and documentation per project requirements. Ensure compliance with relevant USA building codes and standards including: ASCE, AISC, ACI, IBC, IRC, CBC, NDS, SDPWS Collaborate with internal team members to ensure project objectives are met. Required Software Skills: ETABS – Structural analysis and design SAP2000 – General purpose structural analysis RISA 3D & RISA Floor – Steel, concrete, wood, and LGMF design Enercalc – Foundation and member design Bluebeam – Markups, review, and document control Forte – Wood member design (LVL, LSL, PSL, I-joists, etc.) AutoCAD – Drafting and design documentation
