Key Responsibilities The Social Media Intern will play a crucial role in the day-to-day management and growth of the client's social channels: Content Strategy & Creation: Trend Monitoring: Proactively identify and monitor current social media trends, viral sounds, and relevant challenges (especially on Instagram Reels) to create timely and engaging content. Reel Production: Plan, film, edit, and post high-quality, attractive short-form video content (Reels) that aligns with the client’s brand voice and drives high engagement. Content Diversity: Curate and create diverse content across various formats (static posts, carousels, Stories, Lives) as needed. Planning & Scheduling: Social Calendar: Develop, maintain, and manage a detailed weekly/monthly social media content calendar for all assigned platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, Facebook). Scheduling: Schedule posts accurately across all platforms using designated social media management tools. Influencer & Community Engagement: Influencer Outreach: Identify, vet, and initiate contact with relevant micro and macro-influencers for potential collaboration on co-created Reels and promotional content. Community Management: Monitor comments and direct messages, escalating critical issues to the supervising manager. Reporting & Optimisation: Track and report on key social media performance metrics (reach, engagement rate, impressions, video views). Use data insights to optimize future content strategy. ✨ What We're Looking For Experience: Proven personal or professional experience managing a social media account with a focus on growth and engagement. A Content Creator: A strong portfolio (or examples) demonstrating the ability to create visually appealing and engaging Reels or TikTok videos (ideally demonstrating filming and editing skills). Trend Savvy: Up-to-date knowledge of the latest features, algorithms, and content trends across major platforms, especially Instagram and TikTok. Organizational Skills: Excellent planning and organisational abilities to manage a demanding content schedule and juggle multiple tasks. Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for compelling copywriting and effective influencer outreach.
