Crane Operator

As a Crane Operator at Velmurugan Heavy Engineering Industries Pvt Ltd in Sengipatti, Thanjavur, you will be responsible for operating EOT (Electric Overhead Travelling) or mobile cranes in the heavy engineering manufacturing facility. Your key responsibilities will include: - Operating cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment safely. - Following load charts and lifting plans accurately. - Conducting daily inspection and basic maintenance of crane equipment. - Adhering to all safety regulations and company procedures. - Coordinating with riggers and supervisors for efficient lifting operations. To qualify for this role, you must meet the following requirements: - Hold a valid Crane Operator License / Certification. - Have a minimum of 5 years of experience operating EOT or mobile cranes in an industrial setting. - Possess a good understanding of crane safety, load handling, and hand signals. - Be physically fit, alert, and safety-conscious. - Be willing to work in shifts if required.
