Overview We are seeking a Senior Software Developer to scale our backend infrastructure and lead API architecture. You will design systems that handle rapid growth while maintaining performance and reliability. Working with our engineering team, you'll build scalable solutions using NestJS, PostgreSQL, and AWS. This hands-on role requires someone who can write production code daily while making architectural decisions that support business growth. Key Responsibilities System Architecture & Scaling Design and implement scalable backend architecture using NestJS and TypeScript Optimize database performance with Prisma ORM and PostgreSQL Build RESTful APIs that can handle increasing traffic and complexity Make architectural decisions to support 10x growth Infrastructure & Deployment Manage AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, Lambda) Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment Ensure system reliability, monitoring, and performance optimization Handle production deployments and rollback strategies Technical Leadership Write clean, maintainable code following best practices Conduct code reviews and maintain code quality standards Document technical specifications and API endpoints Collaborate with team members on technical solutions Requirements Essential Qualifications 5+ years of software development experience 3+ years working with Node.js and TypeScript Strong expertise in NestJS framework Proficiency with PostgreSQL and Prisma ORM Hands-on experience with AWS services Proven track record of building and scaling APIs Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines Technical Skills Expert-level TypeScript and JavaScript RESTful API design and implementation Database optimization and query performance Docker and containerization Git version control Benefits & Compensation Competitive salary based on experience Direct impact on product architecture and technical decisions Professional growth opportunities as the company scales Streamlined work environment focused on building quality products
