Job Description

Position: Counselor Project: Targeted Intervention Project (FSW) Organization: Chetna Child and Women Welfare Society, Raipur, Chhattisgarh Chetna Child and Women Welfare Society, a reputed organization committed to social empowerment and well-being, is implementing the Targeted Intervention (TI) Project under the National AIDS Control Programme (NACP). Applications are invited from eligible and motivated candidates for the position of Counselor . Job Description The Counselor will play a key role in providing psycho-social support and counseling services to beneficiaries under the TI project. The role involves direct interaction with project beneficiaries, effective coordination with stakeholders, and ensuring timely delivery of support services. Key Responsibilities: · Provide individual and group counseling sessions to beneficiaries affected by HIV/AIDS. · Assist beneficiaries in accessing healthcare services, treatment, and related support. · Maintain confidential and accurate records as per project protocols. · Conduct community outreach activities and awareness programs on HIV/AIDS prevention. · Collaborate with medical officers, peer educators, and other stakeholders for comprehensive care and support. · Prepare and submit timely reports and updates as required. Eligibility Criteria · Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). · At least 1–2 years of experience in counseling or working in HIV/AIDS intervention programs. · Strong communication and interpersonal skills. · Proficiency in local languages ( Chhattisgarhi ). · Familiarity with community-based intervention models and health programs. · Must possess a valid two wheeler driving license. Job Location Birgaon, Raipur, Chhattisgarh Remuneration Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and NACO guidelines.
