Cost Estimator (Civil Engineer)

**Job Description** MAK's LLP is exclusively working for a US company that is actively involved in some of the largest dredging projects in the US history. The US company is also engaged in the design and construction of large capacity prestressed concrete storage tanks in the Middle East. As a self-starter graduate Civil Engineer, you will be an essential part of our team dedicated to this US company. Your role will require you to work both collaboratively as a team member and independently with minimal supervision. You will have the opportunity to interact with US engineers for the US dredging projects. **Key Responsibilities:** - Work on upcoming US dredging bids for quantity takeoffs - Design shipping channels in Hypack software - Analyze bore logs and weather data - Conduct in-depth analysis of previous dredging bids documents to identify bidding patterns - Track various dredging metrics **Qualifications Required:** - Proficiency in AutoCad - Ability to learn and utilize hydrographic surveying software Hypack Desirable: - Previous experience working on US/International projects Apart from the technical skills mentioned, the ability to adapt and learn new technologies and concepts quickly will be a key factor for your success in this role.
