Responsibilities Develop, review, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for manual and automated testing. • Identify, record, document, and track bugs thoroughly using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or equivalent. • Perform different types of testing such as functional, regression, integration, system, acceptance, and UAT. • Collaborate closely with developers, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve defects. • Write clear, comprehensive, and well-structured documentation for all QA deliverables. • Validate databases using SQL queries for data accuracy and integrity. • Contribute to building and maintaining automated test frameworks and scripts (using tools like Selenium, JMeter, Postman, etc.). • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies like daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. • Ensure that testing activities are carried out as per the defined standards and procedures. • Provide timely and meaningful feedback on product quality and suggest improvements. Work Experience Requirement 5 months to 1 year Technical Skills Requirement • Hands-on experience with automation tools (Selenium, JMeter, Postman, etc.). • Proficiency in bug tracking & test management tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, Mantis). • Basic knowledge of programming/scripting languages (Java, C #, .NET, Python, or JavaScript preferred). • Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies. • Ability to write SQL queries for data validation and testing. • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and version control tools is an added advantage. Soft Skills • Strong attention to detail and critical thinking. • Ability to identify edge cases and think from the end-user perspective. • Strong documentation and reporting abilities. • Good time management, prioritization, and multitasking skills. • Positive attitude, teamwork, and willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies. Educational Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
