JUNIOR COFFEE ROASTER Key Responsibilities : Assist the Head Roaster in executing daily roasting schedules. Operate and monitor roasting equipment under supervision. Conduct pre-roast and post-roast quality checks, including moisture readings, color analysis, and physical evaluation. Support in sample roasting and test profiling as needed. Pack roasted coffee with accuracy and attention to detail. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across the roasting and production areas. Manage inventory of green and roasted coffee, packaging materials, and consumables. Log and track roast data using designated software or spreadsheets. Assist during cupping sessions and provide feedback on roast quality. Support equipment maintenance and calibration routines. Qualifications Prior experience or formal training in coffee (brewing, barista work, or production) is preferred but not mandatory. Basic understanding of specialty coffee and interest in learning roasting principles. Preferred Qualifications : Experience working in a coffee roastery, café, or production facility. Maintain a healthy inventory list for various different marketing campaigns across the product categories. Provide basic and accurate information to FAQs in-person and via phone/email Coordinate and process sales orders by different wholesale channels. To prepare a quotation. Understand customer needs and requirements. Keep updated records of office expenses and costs to be submitted with accounts office. Strengthening the existing distribution channel and increasing market penetration. To ensure all the order from different platforms are dispatched on time in a systematic behaviour along with monthly reports maintained for the same. To introduce a step wise retail programme with various different luxury spaces, Pan India. Understanding the functionality of platform aggregators such as Amazon, Flipkart, etc and jolt down a scalability execution plan for the same.
