The Medical Coder will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing patient records to identify relevant diagnoses and procedures, assigning appropriate medical codes, and ensuring accurate coding for medical billing and compliance. The role requires adherence to established coding guidelines and regulations and collaboration with healthcare providers to clarify information and optimize coding accuracy. Qualifications Coding Experience and Medical Coding skills Knowledge of Medical Terminology and Health Information Management RHIT (Registered Health Information Technician) certification Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong analytical and organizational skills Effective communication and teamwork skills Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus Relevant certification (e.g., CPC, CCS) is a plus
