Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced COO / GM – Operations to lead our end-to-end operations, including fleet management, maintenance, warehousing, compliance, and IT integration. The ideal candidate will ensure that all departments function cohesively to deliver best-in-class logistics solutions and meet key performance targets. Key Responsibilities: Lead daily operations across fleet movement, trip planning, and vehicle dispatch. Oversee fleet maintenance, tyre management, breakdown response, and preventive repairs. Ensure 100% compliance with transport regulations, RTO processes, insurance, and legal reporting. Manage warehouses and depots, ensuring accurate inventory, FIFO, and scrap control. Supervise GPS-based tracking systems, FleetX data, and ERP performance for efficiency and uptime. Ensure timely generation and accuracy of daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly operational reports. Coordinate closely with Driver Managers and HR for attendance, payroll, and manpower planning. Oversee procurement and vendor management, ensuring cost-effective sourcing and timely deliveries. Drive continuous improvement in operational KPIs including load/unload time, vehicle turnaround, and fuel efficiency. Collaborate with the finance team for budgeting, cost control, and operational forecasting. Develop and implement SOPs and strategic plans for scaling operations across new locations or business verticals.
