As a Mechanical Engineer specializing in Design & Engineering Development, your responsibilities will include conceptualizing and executing detailed engineering designs. You will be tasked with designing machine layouts that incorporate feedback elements and actuators, encompassing pneumatics, electrical, and hydraulics. It will be essential to create precise engineering documentation while ensuring adherence to ISO, IS, and EN design standards. Your role will also involve participating in departmental planning sessions, conducting design reviews, and working collaboratively with the team to develop designs in alignment with project schedules. Your technical expertise will be vital for applying knowledge in electrical, pneumatics, and hydraulics to provide comprehensive design solutions. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining essential engineering documentation, ensuring safety in design, and demonstrating proficiency in risk assessment methodologies such as FMEA and RCA. Utilizing industry-standard design tools like SolidWorks and Autodesk Inventor will be crucial for your success in this role. The ideal candidate for this position should hold a Diploma or Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical and possess experience in machine building, specifically in Machine tool design, SPM, Material handling, conveying equipment, and Packaging machine building. Experience in in-plant automation equipment building is desired. A thorough understanding of technical, regulatory, and commercial issues, along with proficiency in engineering calculations for stress and strains of mechanical members based on various load conditions, cycle time calculations, and motor power calculations, will be necessary. Strong oral and written communication skills in English, hands-on experience in 3D modeling and designing in SolidWorks and AutoCAD (2D and 3D drafting), and previous experience in Automation industries supplying to the automobile sector and Packaging Industry will be advantageous.,
