Contus TECH Hiring || Senior Business Analyst || Chennai

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements to create

  BRD (Business Requirement Documents)

  and

  FRD (Functional Requirement Documents)

  .
• Collaborate with product, development, QA, and project teams to ensure clear understanding of requirements.
  
• Act as a bridge between the client and internal teams to translate business needs into actionable technical requirements.
  
• Lead and participate in

  Agile ceremonies,

  including sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Work with the project team in planning, tracking, and executing sprints to ensure timely

  project delivery

  .
• Support end-to-end

  SDLC

  processes and ensure documentation is maintained throughout the lifecycle.

Conduct requirement workshops, walkthroughs, and client discussions to drive clarity and alignment.

• Assist in

  project planning

  , prioritisation of tasks, and identification of risks or dependencies.
• Ensure project artefacts meet quality and compliance standards.
  
• Communicate effectively with clients from different regions, understanding their cultural and delivery expectations.
  
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders and ensure smooth communication flow across teams and clients.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 4–5 years of experience

  as a Business Analyst in IT/software projects.
• Strong knowledge of

  BRD, FRD, SDLC, Agile, Scrum

  , and project management practices.
• Hands-on experience in managing

  sprints

  , writing user stories, and coordinating with Agile teams.
• Excellent understanding of project planning and delivery processes.
  
• Exceptional

  communication skills

  —verbal, written, and presentation.
• Proven experience in

  client communication and client handling

  , preferably across diverse regions and time zones.
• Ability to multitask, analyze data, and solve problems efficiently.
  
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
  

Nice to Have

• Experience working with tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management systems.
  
• Exposure to multiple project types (web, mobile, product development, etc.)
