Control Cable Termination Technician

As a Control Cable Termination Technician at RAAM Engineers, you will be an essential part of a Grid Substation (GSS) project, working on 110V DC/AC supply systems. Your primary responsibility will be to terminate, connect, and test control cables related to control panels, protection relays, and auxiliary circuits. Key Responsibilities: - Perform proper termination of control cables (110V supply) at control and relay panels within the GSS. - Ensure ferruling, glanding, and connection are done according to electrical drawings and project standards. - Conduct continuity and insulation resistance testing of control wiring. - Maintain accurate documentation for all terminations and cable schedules. - Collaborate with the project engineer and site supervisors to ensure quality and safety compliance. - Troubleshoot wiring issues during commissioning and testing stages. Qualifications: - Experience in terminating control cables, particularly in 110V supply systems. - Proficiency in reading and understanding electrical drawings. - Knowledge of ferruling, glanding, and connection techniques. - Ability to conduct continuity and insulation resistance testing. - Strong communication skills to coordinate with project team members effectively. - Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot wiring issues efficiently.
