About the Role

We are seeking experienced Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with strong expertise in Alt Text writing. The selected candidates will be responsible for creating accurate, concise, and accessible alt text for academic and scientific images in their respective disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

• Write high-quality alt text descriptions for images, diagrams, and charts in academic content.

• Ensure accuracy, subject relevance, and adherence to accessibility guidelines.

• Meet the daily productivity norm of 87 images/day while maintaining quality.

• Collaborate with project teams to align with requirements.

• Deliver within timelines under a 6-day working schedule.

Requirements

• Graduate/Postgraduate in the relevant subject (Biology, Computer Science, Chemistry, Physics).

• 3–5 years of experience in Alt Text writing for academic/scientific content.

• Strong subject knowledge and ability to describe complex visuals clearly.

• Attention to detail and familiarity with accessibility standards.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

• Norm: 87 images/day

• Working Days: 6 days/week
