As a Content Writer for the E-commerce team at Zouma Consulting Services, located in Mohali, you will play a crucial role in creating engaging and persuasive content that drives conversions. Your responsibilities will include writing SEO-optimized content for product descriptions, category pages, website banners, email campaigns, blogs, and articles. Collaborating with design, marketing, and product teams, you will ensure that the content aligns with brand messaging and marketing goals. Conducting keyword research and applying best SEO practices will be essential to improve rankings and visibility. Adapting your writing style based on different platforms and maintaining content accuracy and alignment with e-commerce trends are key aspects of this role. Keeping the content fresh by regularly updating and enhancing product and promotional content is also part of your responsibilities. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in English, Mass Communication, Marketing, or a related field, along with at least 3 years of experience in content writing, preferably in the e-commerce domain. A strong understanding of SEO, digital marketing, and online buyer behavior is essential. You must possess the ability to create crisp, error-free, and engaging content within tight deadlines. Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, or WordPress would be advantageous.
