Key Responsibilities:

  • Blog & Educational Content:

    Research, write, and publish regular

    blog posts

    that address topics important to parents and align with Aretto’s expertise in children’s foot health and footwear.
  • Website Copy & Product Descriptions:

    Own the content on Aretto’s website, ensuring it clearly communicates our brand story, values, and product features. You will write or refine

    landing page copy

    . Craft compelling

    product descriptions

    , writing announcements for product launches, or tweaking headlines to improve clarity and SEO.
  • Brand Consistency & Collaboration:

    Act as a

    guardian of Aretto’s tone of voice

    , reviewing all outward-facing text to ensure consistency. This includes editing contributions from guest bloggers or partners to fit our style guidelines. Work closely with the SEO Specialist to incorporate target keywords and SEO best practices into your writing without compromising readability or authenticity . Collaborate with the design team to pair your copy with visuals (for instance, suggesting images/infographics for a blog post on foot growth stages). Coordinate with the marketing lead and co-founders on storytelling angles .

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Min 2 years of experience in

    content writing or copywriting

    , preferably for consumer brands or in the parenting/children niche. A portfolio of published blogs, articles, or marketing copy that demonstrates an ability to explain concepts clearly and engagingly will be a strong asset.
  • Exceptional writing skills

    with a keen eye for grammar, flow, and tone. You should be able to adapt to Aretto’s voice – warm, friendly, empathetic, yet credible. Your writing should make complex ideas (like foot anatomy or tech features) easy for laypersons to understand and should consistently reflect the four brand themes (comfort, durability, sustainability, value) .
  • Good understanding of

    SEO principles in content

    – you don’t need to be an SEO expert, but you must know how to naturally incorporate keywords, craft meta descriptions, and structure content for readability (using headings, bullet points, etc.) for both human and search engine audiences . Familiarity with keyword research and basic analytics to gauge content performance is a plus.
  • Creativity and storytelling ability:

    Skill in finding compelling angles to turn product features into relatable benefits and weaving narratives that resonate with parents (e.g. using storytelling to show how Aretto shoes make “daily parenting easier,” echoing the success of our influencer campaigns) . Able to brainstorm content ideas that align with seasonal themes, trending topics in parenting, or specific marketing campaigns
  • Experience writing for

    multiple channels

    – long-form articles, short social posts, email copy, and product descriptions. You should understand the nuances of each format (e.g. what makes an Instagram post shareable vs. how to keep a blog reader hooked). Basic knowledge of posting on CMS platforms (Shopify/WordPress for blogs) and scheduling social media or email content is desired.
