Content Strategist

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Content Strategist to plan, manage, and optimize content across digital platforms to support brand growth, audience engagement, and performance marketing goals. The ideal candidate should have agency experience, strong copywriting and scripting abilities, and the capability to lead content strategy while aligning with overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Strategy & Planning:

• Develop and implement effective content strategies aligned with brand and campaign objectives
• Plan content for both organic and paid channels with platform-specific relevance
• Create structured content calendars and campaign execution plans

Copywriting & Scripting:

• Write compelling content for advertisements, social media, landing pages, and brand communications
• Develop scripts for videos including ads, reels, testimonials, explainer videos, and educational content
• Ensure messaging is clear, persuasive, and aligned with audience intent

Content Direction & Quality Control:

• Provide clear content briefs, tone guidelines, and feedback to writers and creators
• Review and refine content to maintain high quality and performance standards
• Ensure timely implementation of feedback and necessary improvements

Performance Marketing Alignment:

• Work closely with the performance marketing team to optimize content for conversions
• Improve content strategies based on campaign insights, A/B testing, and performance data

AI & Innovation:

• Explore and use AI tools for content ideation, scripting, and optimization
• Recommend AI-driven improvements while maintaining originality and brand consistency

Collaboration & Ownership:

• Collaborate with design, video, and social media teams to execute integrated campaigns
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and campaign reviews
• Take ownership of content timelines and deliverables

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (Required)
• 3–5 years of experience as a Content Strategist or in a similar role (agency experience preferred)
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in content strategy (Required)
• Strong understanding of content marketing, social media strategy, and performance-driven storytelling
• Proven expertise in copywriting and scripting
• Experience managing writers and providing structured feedback
• Familiarity with AI tools for content creation
• Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Malayalam (Required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Calicut, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
