Accessibility QA Qualifications
- Proven ability to perform hands on Accessibility testing using various assistive technologies.
- Expert knowledge of WCAG guidelines and success criteria for proper testing and reporting outcomes.
- Capable and motivated to coordinate with Developer & Engineering teams, to provide support and code level advice to resolve issues.
- Critical thinker, able to perform data driven analysis for triaging complex issues, designing solutions, and supporting fix implementation.
- Ability to validate accuracy of reporting performance on work performed by other teammates, and providing feedback for improvement.
- Collaborative and eager to learn and share knowledge.
- Certifications desired CPACC, WAS, or CPWA
Role Summary
The advanced associate carries out quality assurance reviews with a greater degree of independence, evaluating more detailed aspects of content such as clarity, functionality of digital assets, and alignment with expected standards. This role supports content projects by resolving routine issues, recommending corrections to content teams, and maintaining clear records of findings. The individual collaborates across functions to ensure timely progress and has some autonomy in troubleshooting straightforward content discrepancies, escalating complex concerns as necessary.KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORSHigh completion rate of assigned content checks demonstrated attention to detail when applying QA standards to varied formats, and thorough recording of outcomes in project documentation represent success at this tier.
