To be responsible for smooth functioning of Department of Surgery, Surgical OPD & patients admitted under the Department of Surgery in Ward, Private Room & ICU. To attend Surgical emergency 24hX7 promptly while on duty. He/she must be proficient in Surgery (General & Laparoscopic method) in respect of department of surgery. To conduct Surgical OPD in the morning. To visit IPD patients at least once daily or whenever condition warranted, the action shall be documented as per NABH guidelines in progressive sheet.
Qualification: MS (General Surgery) & Fellowship in General Laparoscopic Surgery.
