Consultant - Security

You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and planners to integrate security measures into project designs, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. Your expertise will be crucial in providing guidance on physical security systems, including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and perimeter protection. In this role, you will prepare detailed security plans, specifications, and reports to support project delivery and client presentations. Engaging with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies is essential to address security concerns and ensure project alignment with industry best practices. Staying updated on emerging security trends, technologies, and threats will enable you to provide forward-thinking solutions. Your responsibilities will also include supporting project teams in managing budgets, timelines, and resources related to security deliverables. A Bachelor's degree in security management or a related field is required, while a Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PSP) are preferred. You should have at least 5 years of experience in security consulting, focusing on planning and designing projects. Proven expertise in integrating security solutions into multidisciplinary projects, such as transportation, commercial, or public infrastructure, is essential. Strong knowledge of security standards, risk assessment methodologies, and physical security technologies is expected. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to collaborate effectively with diverse project teams and clients. Proficiency in design and planning tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam) and security software will be advantageous. You should demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
