Consultant Nuclear Medicine Physician

As a Nuclear Medicine Physician, your role involves performing diagnostic imaging studies using radionuclides and various imaging modalities. This includes computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), positron emission tomography (PET), and single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT). You will be responsible for monitoring patients throughout their treatment to ensure their safety. Your tasks will also include preparing patients for tests by explaining procedures and potential side effects, diagnosing conditions based on test results, and recommending appropriate treatment options. Additionally, you will prescribe and administer medications or perform other treatments to alleviate symptoms or enhance the quality of life for patients with challenging conditions.
