Surgical Expertise
Proficient in all Brain and Spine surgeries, including:
Traumatic Brain Injury surgeries
Brain tumor surgeries
Intracranial bleed & emergency neurosurgical procedures
Hydrocephalus & shunt procedures
Degenerative spine surgeries
Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar disc surgeries
Spine trauma and fixation procedures
Key Responsibilities
Diagnosis and comprehensive management of neurosurgical cases
Performing emergency and elective cranial and spinal surgeries
Pre-operative evaluation, surgical planning, and informed consent
Post-operative management including ICU coordination
Providing 24/7 emergency neurosurgical support as per duty roster
Coordination with Critical Care, Anesthesia, Radiology, and Rehabilitation teams
Maintaining accurate medical documentation and operative notes
Compliance with NABH standards, hospital protocols, and ethical practices
Participation in clinical audits, CMEs, and quality improvement programs
Skills & Competencies
Strong clinical judgment and operative skills
Ability to handle high-acuity emergency cases
Team-oriented approach with excellent communication skills
Commitment to patient safety and quality care
