Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Managing end-to-end compliances under GST- preparation/ reviewing tax computations and periodic GST returns
Effectively understanding & responding to regular Indirect Tax queries of clients
Assisting the team in litigation matters of clients including drafting replies to show cause notices, drafting appeals, attending personal hearing, representing the client before authorities, etc.
Preparation and filing of GST refund/ SEIS/ MEIS applications
Managing GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C assignments including maintaining all the relevant documents
Managing IDT due diligence/ review assignments
Assistance in preparation of draft proposals in line with detailed scope of work
Taking active part in regular trainings conducted by the Firm
Assisting seniors with respect to billings and tracking receivables
Updating clients on various legislative developments via e-mail

Preferred candidate profile

CA with relevant exposure in Indirect Tax (0-2 years of experience)
Semi Qualified CA or equivalent with relevant exposure in Indirect Tax (4-6 years of experience) can also apply
Working knowledge of GST Portal and Indirect Tax laws including FTP
Experience in GST and Customs including FTP, Service Tax, Central Excise, VAT/ CST, regulatory compliances and litigations would be preferred
