Consultant Histopathologist

You will be joining Continental Hospitals in Hyderabad as a Consultant Pathologist specializing in Histopathology and Cytopathology within the Laboratory Medicine department. As a Consultant Pathologist, your responsibilities will include conducting detailed examinations and interpretations of histological and cytological specimens, ensuring accurate and timely diagnoses, participating in multidisciplinary team meetings, overseeing quality control protocols, and staying updated on the latest diagnostic advancements. You will also be responsible for maintaining ethical, safety, and infection control standards in the laboratory environment. To qualify for this position, you should have an MD in Pathology from a reputable medical institution and at least 7 years of post-MD experience in histopathology and cytopathology. Demonstrated expertise in oncopathology, immunohistochemistry, frozen sections, and cytological interpretations is required. Previous experience in a high-volume, NABL-accredited diagnostic or hospital setup will be advantageous.
