Should have capable of performing ultrasonography for the hospital. execute tasks concerned with both pregnancy as well as female reproductive systems.educate their patients about important matters such as healthy diet, proper hygiene, and how to preclude complications when pregnant.prepare appropriate government and medical reports of childbirth and death study medical test results, diagnose the current condition and take suitable steps for treatment take care of the patients health throughout all prenatal, natal, as well as post-natal period discuss with the patients all details about the test results, the complications, and also the appropriate treatments and other course of action required. carry out cesarean or surgical operations, with keeping in mind the health of both the baby and mother.oversee and coordinate activities of nurses and other healthcare personnel In places where abortion is legal, obstetricians are usually the people to perform these procedures. Obstetricians will typically also assist with the delivery of new babies. instruct the mother about what to do and will help her manage the pain associated with childbirth. monitor new moms for complications both medical and emotional, and will recommend care and treatment as needed. Gynecologists have to diagnose the patients and identify their problems from the diagnostic tests as well as note down the symptoms patients are experiencing. Conduct research and examine the symptoms to give proper medications and dosage assistance to the patients. Keep a track of the progress shown by the patients during the treatment process. Suggest alternative treatments in case there is no health progress. Perform surgeries in case of chronic and serious reproductive disorders. They also provide health care assistance to the pregnant women in prenatal, natal and postnatal care. They provide dietary tips and conduct regular examinations for pregnant women. They are the whole and sole of the entire delivery process and also provide health care tips for the babies. They perform surgeries during the delivery if necessary. Provide all types of consulting help related to womens reproductive system. Maintain reports of the patients that can help them in future treatments. Refer patients to other specialists in case the disease is related to some other medical problem. Consult with other doctors and take their help in the treatment process. Give alternate treatments options to the patients and help them understand the exact process of treatment concerned to their disease. Conduct conferences and seminars related to health management and dietary plans for women. Interview patients to understand their complaints and symptoms. Study patients’ medical histories and consult with other doctors. Provide consultation, care, and treatment for women before, during, and after their pregnancies. Deliver babies by employing the necessary methods to protect the health of the mother and child. Perform examinations to diagnose diseases and disorders. Treat diseases in organs and other parts of the body. When surgery is warranted, advise the patient of the procedure’s benefits and risks. Conduct operations to treat illness or remove cancerous tissues.
