Consultant - Application Monitoring

As an Application Monitoring Professional at YASH Technologies, you will join the Center of Excellence team to monitor applications and infrastructure. Your key responsibilities will include: - Assist in monitoring applications and infrastructure using tools like Datadog, Dynatrace, Splunk, and CloudWatch. - Track the availability and performance of critical applications and websites from an end-user perspective. - Support log analytics and monitoring setup to ensure visibility into system health and application performance. - Identify and escalate performance issues, outages, or anomalies to senior engineers. - Help maintain documentation for monitoring processes and tool usage. - Work with application teams to understand monitoring needs and assist in configuring alerts. - Monitor system metrics such as CPU, memory, and disk space to ensure stability. - Participate in discussions about performance issues and collaborate on solutions. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. - 2+ years of experience in application monitoring or IT support. - Basic knowledge of monitoring tools (Datadog, Splunk, CloudWatch, Dynatrace, etc.). - Familiarity with application architectures (.NET, Java, SaaS, AWS, Azure, GCP). - Understanding of log monitoring and analytics. - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. - Basic knowledge of ITIL practices (incident and problem management). - Good communication and collaboration skills.
