Construction Manager -E&I offshore

As a Project Manager / Offshore E&I Construction Superintendent, your role involves overseeing the construction and installation works at offshore sites with a focus on electrical and instrumentation aspects in the oil & gas industry. With your 15+ years of experience in E&I construction, you will be responsible for ensuring project standards are met and compliance with offshore E&I codes. Your responsibilities include: - Construction Management: - Plan, coordinate, and supervise E&I construction and installation works. - Allocate manpower, materials, tools, and equipment effectively. - Review construction drawings, specifications, and identify constructability issues. - Monitor daily progress and ensure adherence to schedules. - Technical & Quality Control: - Ensure installation of electrical systems, instrumentation, control systems, and more as per project standards. - Conduct inspections, testing, and pre-commissioning activities. - Ensure compliance with relevant offshore E&I codes. - Safety & Compliance: - Enforce HSE policies, PTW requirements, and safety procedures. - Lead toolbox talks, risk assessments, and ensure safe work execution. - Ensure compliance with hazardous area installation requirements. - Coordination & Communication: - Collaborate with various teams including Project Managers, Engineering, QA/QC, and more. - Coordinate with marine operations, construction barge teams, and offshore OIM. - Participate in progress meetings and manage interface issues. - Documentation & Reporting: - Maintain progress reports, site logs, and documentation. - Review and approve ITPs, method statements, and contractor work packs. - Verify material deliveries and ensure timely availability of site resources. Qualifications & Experience: - Bachelors Degree / Diploma in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of E&I construction projects offshore, contributing to the overall efficiency and quality of the operations.,
