Job Description

Administer and maintain Fortinet firewalls (FortiGate), switches, and wireless controllers. Configure and manage VPNs, firewall rules, and security policies. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues. Perform regular firmware upgrades, patches, and backups. Collaborate with IT and security teams to implement network changes and enhancements. Maintain network documentation including diagrams, IP schemas, and change logs. Conduct network security assessments and implement mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with internal and external security standards. Strong experience with Fortinet products (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer). Solid understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF). Experience with LAN/WAN , VLANs, and routing/switching. Familiarity with network monitoring tools and SIEM platforms . Fortinet NSE certification (NSE 4 or higher) preferred. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. - Grade Specific Fortinet Technologies FortiGate (firewall configuration, VPN setup, UTM features) FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer FortiAP and FortiSwitch Networking Fundamentals TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VLANs Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) Switching and routing configuration Security & Monitoring Firewall rule management and security policy enforcement Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS) VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL VPN) Network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark)
