We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Office Administrator & Accountant to manage both administrative and financial functions, ensuring smooth office operations and accurate financial management. Key Responsibilities: Accounting & Finance: Handle all accounting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting activities. Manage accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and reconciliations. Prepare monthly and annual financial statements in compliance with company and statutory requirements. Support budgeting, cost tracking, and project expenditure control. Liaise with auditors, banks, and government authorities for compliance, reporting, and statutory filings. Maintain accurate financial records for mining operations and procurement. Administration & Office Management: Oversee daily office operations to ensure an efficient and professional work environment. Manage correspondence, document control, and filing systems. Coordinate meetings, travel arrangements, and logistics for management and field staff. Support HR tasks, including maintaining attendance records and assisting with recruitment documentation. Handle procurement of office supplies and maintain inventory. Interact with local and government bodies to support smooth functioning and compliance of company operations. Liaise with vendors, contractors, and service providers. Ensure adherence to company policies and administrative standards. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum 2–3 years of combined experience in accounting and administration, preferably in mining, construction, or industrial sectors. Strong understanding of financial regulations and tax compliance in Namibia. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills. High integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work independently. Fluent in English (spoken and written); knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
