The Tekla Detailer position requires a skilled professional with a minimum of 2 years" experience in detailing concrete structures using Tekla Structures. As a Tekla Detailer, you will be responsible for producing detailed reinforcement drawings, bar bending schedules (BBS), and accurate 3D models for precast and/or cast-in-place (CIP) concrete components. Strong attention to detail, knowledge of concrete detailing standards, and a collaborative work ethic are essential for this role. Your role and responsibilities will include creating precise and efficient rebar detailing and concrete element modeling using Tekla Structures, producing shop drawings, formwork drawings, rebar placement drawings, and bar bending schedules (BBS). You will also be tasked with modeling cast-in-place and/or precast concrete components such as slabs, columns, beams, walls, and stairs, ensuring correct placement and spacing of reinforcement as per design and code requirements. Additionally, you will review and interpret structural and architectural drawings accurately, coordinate with engineers, modelers, and other detailers to resolve conflicts or design issues, and maintain compliance with company and project-specific standards and relevant codes. Delivering drawings and models within project deadlines and quality standards is a key aspect of this role. The preferred candidate profile includes a Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related technical field, a minimum of 2 years of experience in concrete detailing using Tekla Structures, experience in reinforced concrete, precast, or cast-in-place (CIP) detailing, and familiarity with international or local standards (ACI, BS, Eurocode, IS). The Structural Detailer shall be responsible for delivery of contract drawings and associated documentation. Produce reinforced concrete and steelwork arrangement drawings which are clear, accurate, cost effective, meet the requirements of the specification and which can be constructed and commissioned safely and effectively.
