Concrete Carpenter

As a Concrete Carpenter at our company, your primary role is to execute detailed, high-quality, consistent, and safe tasks within the Concrete Carpentry trade. You will be working on assignments in the Indianapolis area. Key Responsibilities: - Perform tasks in accordance with the standards set for the Concrete Carpentry trade. - Interpret and follow plans, schematics, and drawings to complete tasks accurately. - Safely and effectively utilize appropriate trade tools for assigned projects. - Research and use tools necessary for the trade to ensure high-quality and timely completion of tasks. - Continuously explore ways to enhance cost-effectiveness and quality of work within the trade. - Provide guidance to unskilled labor to guarantee safety and professional project delivery. - Collaborate with the Foreman to analyze projects, identify potential issues, and ensure smooth project execution. - Coordinate with other trades on projects that involve simultaneous and overlapping work. - Adhere to safety standards and promote a culture of safety on all job sites. Qualifications Required: - Preferably possess an AS in Construction Trade or equivalent trade certification from an accredited program. - Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in flatwork. In addition to the above, you should be knowledgeable about grades and ADA requirements, capable of bending, crouching, and standing for extended periods, adept at interpreting drawings and project specifications, skilled in safely operating trade tools and equipment, and possess strong communication and teamwork abilities.
