Concept & Preproduction Artist Hybrid Workflow Specialist

As a Concept & Preproduction Artist at our company, you will be responsible for defining the visual direction for creative projects by translating scripts and creative direction into compelling visual concepts. Your role will involve producing detailed concept sketches, refined digital paintings, and color keys to establish the final aesthetic for entire sequences. Additionally, you will create precise specification sheets and detailed character/prop turnarounds to ensure accurate execution by other departments. Your workflow will include utilizing efficient tools such as digital painting techniques and AI platforms for mood inspiration, followed by manual cleanup for final polish. Collaboration and rapid revisions based on creative feedback will be key aspects of your role. Your portfolio should showcase a strong command of artistic fundamentals and problem-solving skills, regardless of the tools you use. We prioritize passion, potential, and dedication to working on high-quality projects. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop is essential, along with knowledge of tools like Blender or SketchUp for scene blocking and perspective. Experience with AI platforms for sketching is highly valued. The role requires fundamental artistic skills such as proficiency in core art principles, visual storytelling, and technical detail. You should have the ability to manage a high volume of work, deliver high-quality concepts under tight deadlines, and adapt to new workflows efficiently. A desire to create exceptional work for significant production credits and a willingness to receive and implement feedback are essential qualities. This is a full-time position located in Goregaon (West), Mumbai, with no work-from-home option available. We are open to candidates with 0 to 24 months of experience, including freshers. The salary will be determined based on your expertise and skillset. The contract length is 12 months, and benefits include the ability to work from home.
