Core Responsibilities
Model development Build and fine-tune image classification, detection, segmentation, OCR, and cross-modal retrieval pipelines in PyTorch or TensorFlow.Vision-language research transfer Re-implement recent conference papers; run ablation studies; compare checkpoints on COCO, LVIS, and internal datasets.Training and evaluation Write efficient trainers, manage experiment tracking (Weights & Biases / MLflow), and track metrics such as mAP, BLEU, CIDEr.Deployment Package models for REST and on-device endpoints (TorchScript, TensorRT); measure latency, memory, and accuracy.Code quality & collaboration Maintain clean repositories, contribute to design reviews, and present findings to non-AI colleagues and clients.Ethics & security Flag dataset bias, ensure privacy compliance, and document model limitations.Minimum RequirementsAreaExpectationEducationB.Tech / M.Tech in CS, or related field.Python expertise3+ years building deep-learning pipelines; solid OOP and unit testing.FrameworksPyTorch (preferred) or TensorFlow; OpenCV; experience with Hugging Face or similar libraries.Vision-languageHands-on with at least one of CLIP, BLIP, Segment-Anything, Detic, LLaVA, or similar.ToolsGit, Docker, Linux, CUDA; basic CI/CD.Soft skillsClear written and spoken English; able to translate technical results into client-friendly summaries.
