Computer Vision Engineer

Sizzle is an exciting new startup that is revolutionizing the gaming industry by developing AI to automate gaming highlights directly from Twitch and YouTube streams. We are currently seeking a talented engineer with expertise in computer vision and AI technologies related to image and video analysis. As a part of our team, you will be responsible for developing computer vision algorithms to identify key moments within popular online games. You will utilize foundational technologies such as TensorFlow, OpenCV, and others to build advanced models. Additionally, you will design neural network architectures specifically tailored for image and video analysis in the realm of popular games. Your role will involve specifying precise requirements for training data sets and collaborating with analysts to create these data sets. Furthermore, you will be responsible for training final models using techniques like transfer learning and data augmentation to optimize models for deployment in a production environment. Cooperation with back-end engineers will be essential to integrate all detection algorithms into production and automate the highlight creation process. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of computer vision and AI frameworks and algorithms, particularly in image and video analysis. Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, OpenCV, and other computer vision tools is required. Familiarity with common computer vision object detection models such as Inception, R-CNN, Yolo, MobileNet SSD, and others is beneficial. A demonstrated understanding of various algorithms for image and video analysis, such as CNNs and LSTM for motion and inter-frame analysis, is essential. Experience with AWS environments is preferred. A passion for working in a dynamic startup environment, a willingness to learn quickly on the job, experiment with new approaches, and deliver results are highly valued qualities.
