As an Engineering Intern/Fresher for the Automated dimming system in Automotive project based in Chennai, you will be part of a team developing an automatic dimming system for automotive applications. This project involves using camera-based sensors to detect and activate the windshield. The Proof of Concept (PoC) phase aims to validate the feasibility of this approach before scaling up to full product development. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and implement a real-time image processing system to detect lights using cameras. - Utilize OpenCV, Python/C++, and machine learning techniques (if required) for vision-based detection. - Collaborate with embedded platforms such as Raspberry Pi, Jetson Nano, etc., for real-time processing. - Design and integrate a low-latency communication system between sensors and the UV light emitter. - Optimize the system for accuracy, speed, and low power consumption. **Qualifications Required:** - Experience in computer vision and image processing tools like OpenCV, TensorFlow, etc. - Knowledge of embedded systems and real-time processing. - Familiarity with microcontrollers such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi, etc. - Ability to interface sensors and process real-time data effectively. In addition to the technical aspects of the role, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in real-world automotive technology and sensor processing. Mentorship and guidance will be provided for hardware-software integration, and you will work on cutting-edge computer vision and optoelectronics applications.
